Day 1
(March 28th 2026, Sat) Arrival in Paro – Drive to Thimphu
- Experience: Your journey begins with a breathtaking flight into Paro, surrounded by Himalayan peaks. Feel the excitement build as you meet your guide and begin your adventure.
- Scenic Drive: Enjoy the beautiful drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s charming capital city, nestled in a winding valley.

Day 2
(March 29th 2026, Sunday) Thimphu's Cultural Heart & Wangditse Hike
- Morning Hike: Start with a gentle and scenic hike to Wangditse Monastery. The trail offers beautiful panoramic views of Thimphu Valley and is a perfect warm-up.
- Afternoon Sightseeing: Dive into the culture of the capital. Visit the monumental Buddha Dordenma, witness the traditional artistry at the Painting School, and explore the magnificent Tashichho Dzong, the seat of Bhutan’s government.
- Evening: Explore the local craft markets for unique souvenirs.

Day 3
(March 30th 2026, Mon) To the Sub-Tropical Punakha Valley
- Morning Drive: Journey over the stunning Dochula Pass (3,100m). Stop to admire the 108 Memorial Chortens and, if the weather is clear, enjoy a panoramic view of the Himalayan peaks.
- Cultural Visit: Descend into the warm Punakha valley and visit the whimsical Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple), dedicated to the Divine Madman, Drukpa Kunley.
- Highlight: Be awed by the magnificent Punakha Dzong, arguably Bhutan’s most beautiful fortress, situated dramatically at the confluence of two rivers.

Day 4
(March 31st 2026, Tue) Return to Paro – Festival Eve
- Scenic Drive: Return to Paro, retracing your route over the Dochula Pass.
- Festival Preparation: The atmosphere in Paro will be electric! Feel the anticipation build for the main festival days. Your guide will explain the schedule and significance of the dances you will see tomorrow.

Day 5
(April 1st 2026, Wed) The Paro Tsechu Festival
- Full Day Festival Experience: Immerse yourself in the vibrant and sacred Paro Tsechu at the majestic Rinpung Dzong. Witness monks and laymen in elaborate costumes perform a series of cham (masked dances), each telling a story of Buddhist history, mythology, and morality.
- The Experience: Join locals in their finest traditional dress. Receive blessings from the sacred thongdrel (a giant appliqué thangka) that is unveiled on the pre-dawn of the final day. Soak in the joyous, celebratory atmosphere of this unique cultural event.

Day 6
(April 2nd 2026, Thu) The Iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery Hike
- Spiritual Pilgrimage: Embark on the legendary hike to Taktsang Palphug Monastery, the Tiger’s Nest. This challenging but deeply rewarding climb to the monastery clinging to a cliff face is a fitting spiritual culmination to your journey.
- Celebration: After your descent, soothe your muscles and reflect on your adventure with a rejuvenating traditional Bhutanese hot stone bath.
- Farewell Dinner: Enjoy a special farewell dinner with your guide, celebrating the festival and the wonders of Bhutan.

Day 7
(April 3rd 2026, Fri) Departure
- Morning: After a final Bhutanese breakfast, your guide will transfer you to Paro International Airport for your departing flight, filled with memories of vibrant dances, sacred sites, and Himalayan beauty. “Tashi Delek!”
